Brombil factory

Evergreen Group situated in Horangalla, Thalgaswela in Galle district produced and sold the highest quantity of tea for a group in Sri Lanka in the year 2022 selling 11,388,824 kgs.
Separately, Group entity Brombil Tea Factory situated in Pelawatte in Kalutara district produced and sold the highest quantity of tea for a factory in Sri Lanka in the year 2022 selling 3,635,100 kgs.
Evergreen group is one of the largest tea producing groups in Sri Lanka with 13 factories under their operations namely, Evergreen, Brombil, Thundola, Talangaha, Katandola, Wathurawila, Walahanduwa, Hill Garden, Rekadahena, Kanneliya, Lihiniyawa and Marakanda, Karawita.
This group produces both Orthodox and CTC teas. The factories under this entity are also certified with RA and ISO certificates with around 30,000 small holders supplying green leaf to the factories. The group employs over 4000 people from the area.
Evergreen Group’s Chairman is Aruna de Silva and the overall operations are spearheaded by Director Indika Nallapperuma. Director Senal de Silva is also a prominent member in the Board and General Manager Lasantha Alwis is a member of the Management Team.
Brombil Tea Factory produces both Orthodox and CTC teas. The factory is also certified with RA and ISO certificates with around 4800 small holders supplying green leaf to the factory. The factory employs over 500 people from the area.
Brombil Tea Factory is managed by Directors lndika Nallapperuma and Senal de Silva, Manager Tyron Rathnayake and Production Manager Aruna Nilantha.
