FDI, the need of the hour? FT forum on Monday to assess 2022 Budget effectiveness

Sri Lanka badly needs foreign direct investments (FDIs) and the Daily FT-Colombo University MBA Alumni Association organised forum on Monday will assess the effectiveness of the 2022 Budget in realising this goal.

The popular post-Budget forum will be held on Monday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at The Kingsbury.

Putting multinational companies’ (MNCs) perspectives under the spotlight, Monday’s physical forum will highlight views of several international companies, including Standard Chartered Bank, A. Baur and Company, CEAT and Airtel.

Central Bank Governor Nivard Cabraal will keynote the forum which will also have insights from PwC Sri Lanka on the 2022 Budget’s taxation policies, and SC Securities Ltd. highlighting the impact on the capital market.
