Finance Minister will inform IMF stance at next Cabinet meeting

Trade Minister Bandula Gunawardena yesterday said Finance Minister will inform his stance pertaining to the report compiled by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on Sri Lanka to the Cabinet of Ministers meeting next week.

“Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa has held frequent discussions with the IMF, as Sri Lanka is a member of the IMF. They also have an office at the Central Bank. The details of the report to compiled by the IMF will be briefed at the Cabinet of Ministers meeting next week,” he said joining the post-Cabinet meeting media briefing yesterday.
