Tourism industry today will meet State Finance Minister Eran Wickramaratne to finalise financial support program for quicker revival of the sector post-Easter Sunday terror attacks.

The meeting today was mooted by Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe when he met the tourism industry on Tuesday where he assured financial support for the sector.

State Minister Wickramaratne in his official Twitter account yesterday posted that financial assistance for the tourism sector will be implemented from next week.

“Measures in place to recover from impact on tourism sector. The Financial Assistance Package will be rolled out and made public on Monday, 6 May,” he said.
