Five-day Chinese Cultural Fair kicks off

The third Chinese Cultural Fair, organised by the Embassy in collaboration with the China Cultural Centre and Sri Lanka Overseas Chinese Association, kicked off yesterday at Arcade, Independence Square with Minister Champika Ranawaka as Chief Guest and Ambassador Cheng Xueyuan. 

The Fair will run till Tuesday (19 February) from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and will include cultural performances, handicraft demonstrations, traditional lanterns, and Chinese traditional food. Entrance is free. 

Cultural performances will start at 7 p.m. today, tomorrow and on Monday, and at 8 p.m. on Tuesday – Pic by Shehan Gunasekara
