The Government yesterday decided not to change the fuel prices this month despite an increase in price in the global crude oil market in view of the festive season, a statement released by the Finance Ministry said.
“Although the fuel price should be increased as the global market have been rising steadily, the price will remain unchanged,” the statement read.
The crude oil price has increased in global market from $67 per barrel in March to $ 74 per barrel, the statement noted.
