Fuel prices up

A substantial increase in fuel prices was announced last night by all three companies. As per the latest price revision of State-run Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CEYPETCO) and Lanka IOC, a litre of Octane 92 Petrol by Rs. 4 to Rs. 365, while 95 Octane Petrol up by Rs. 3 to Rs. 420, Auto Diesel up by Rs. 10 to Rs. 351, Super Diesel up by Rs. 62 to Rs. 421, and Kerosene increased by Rs. 11 to Rs. 242. 

Separately, SINOPEC also revised its prices yesterday. Accordingly, Petrol 95 increased by Rs. 6 to Rs. 420, Auto Diesel increased by Rs.10 to Rs. 348, Super Diesel increased by Rs. 61 to Rs. 417, Petrol 92 remains unchanged at Rs. 358
