Galadari Brothers to give $ 45 m facelift to Colombo hotel

Galadari Brothers have decided to fully refurbish its 450-room Colombo five star hotel at a cost of $ 45 million, the Daily FT learns.

The refurbishment includes a total face-lift to the building itself. Additionally the Khaleej Times and their media have offered their power to rejuvenate and reposition Sri Lanka in the Middle East market.

 Sources said two events will be held together with them, one tourism event and the other to draw Foreign Direct Investment in Dubai.

Galadari Brothers Co LLC owns 63.57% stake in the 1984-established Galadari Hotels (Lanka) Plc.
