Galadari signs restaurant deal with UAE’s Soho Hospitality

Galadari Hotels (Lanka) PLC has on 18 November entered into a Restaurant Management Agreement with Soho Hospitality Corporate Service Provider – FZCO, a renowned restaurant operator in Dubai UAE in relation to the development, management, and operation of the “Above Eleven” restaurant at Galadari Hotel, Colombo 1.

The agreement includes the right and licence to use the name and mark “Above Eleven” (or such other mutually agreed name and mark in relation to the restaurant).

The new restaurant is slated to be opened in the latter part of 2025 whilst the Galadari Hotel is currently undergoing a rebranding and refurbishment exercise which began in February.

In October, the Company received the first part of the term loan from Mashreq Bank in Dubai for Rs. 505.8 million for the renovation initiative.
