Gates Foundation Independent Consultant calls on Secretary to the President

Gates Foundation Independent Consultant Chanditha Samaranayake yesterday met with the Secretary to the President Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake at the Presidential Secretariat.

The discussion centred on the progress of the digital agricultural transformation program aimed at supporting smallholder farmers and the school meal program to address Sri Lanka’s malnutrition crisis.

Further collaborations on Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI), livestock, and climate-related initiatives were also explored.

The Gates Foundation’s leadership expressed their expectations to meet with President Anura

Kumara Dissanayake soon to formalise the partnership between the Government of Sri Lanka and the Foundation.
