Global COVID-19 cases at 1.6 m, death toll crosses 100,000

Reuters: Over 1.6 million people have been reported to be infected by COVID-19 globally and 100,035 have died, according to a Reuters tally. 

Infections have been reported in more than 210 countries and territories since the first cases were identified in China in December 2019.

The following countries reported the most deaths.
