Global COVID-19 cases pass 4.46 m, death toll crosses 301,000

Reuters: More than 4.46 million people have been reported to have been infected by COVID-19 globally and 301,445 have died, according to a Reuters tally.

Infections have been reported in more than 210 countries and territories since the first cases were identified in China in December 2019.
