Nalaka Goda-hewa has been appointed the new Chairman of the Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation.
Daily FT learns he had visited the organisation last week and addressed the staff.
This is the second stint at SLIC for Godahewa as he previously served as the Managing Director.
He replaces respected senior business leader Hemaka Amarasuriya.
Godahewa’s last position under the President Mahinda Rajapaksa regime was as Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission.
