Govt. to table gazette on parate law suspension today: Semasinghe

State Minister of Finance Shehan Semasinghe announced yesterday that the gazette notification regarding the suspension of the Parate Execution law will be tabled in Parliament today (21).

He explained that a 14-day window will be provided for the submission of petitions, followed by awaiting the Supreme Court›s determination.

“As a result, the implementation process is expected to span a few weeks,” he added.
