ICC gets contract to build 408 housing units in Wattala

International Constructions Consortium Ltd. has been awarded the contract for the construction of 408 housing units in Millagahawatte area, Wattala.

Cabinet approval was given to the proposal by Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa in his capacity as Minister of Urban Development and Housing to award ICC Ltd. the contract, subject to the recommendation of the standing committee on negotiations appointed by the Cabinet of Ministers.

Earlier bids were sought in keeping with the national competitive bidding methodology for the implementation of the project to construct the housing units.
