IMF Board to take up Sri Lanka review on 12 December

The approval of the second tranche under the Extended Fund Facility by the Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is now scheduled for 12 December and not 14 December as speculated by the Daily FT last week. Previously the Government was expecting the approval by 6 December.
