ITAK to support Premadasa

The Ilankai Thamil Arasu Kacchi (ITAK) pledged its support to National Democratic Front (NDF) presidential candidate Sajith Premadasa yesterday. 

ITAK parliamentarian M.A. Sumanthiran made the announcement at a press briefing in Vavuniya yesterday. He said ITAK leader MP R. Sampanthan would discuss with other parties who form the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) as well, to secure their support for the TNA decision.
