As Sri Lanka celebrated the 74th Independence Day last Friday, celebrities the world over poured their wishes to mark the occasion via a travel inspired short video by the national carrier SriLankan Airlines.

The celebrities include; former England international cricketer Kevin Pietersen, English professional football players Neil Etheridge and Aaron Ramsdale, Chinese world class badminton player Bao Chunlai, Austrian professional football player Marcel Stabitzer as well as Japanese Miss Tourism 2016 Yumi Hashimoto.

“I cannot wait to visit your shores again. It is a country I love and the people I absolutely adore. My word to explore the country is quite something. I can’t wait to visit your beautiful country again very soon. ”
