Kudos for Daily FT reporting

The Daily FT on Tuesday won the Certificate of Merit Award for reporting under special circumstances at the 20th Annual Journalism Awards for Excellence 2018 ceremony at the Mount Lavinia Hotel. The Daily FT was the only English newspaper to win an award in this category, and the Merit Award was for its reporting on the 51-day constitutional coup the country experienced late last year. The Award is dedicated to Prof. K Kailasapathy.
