LIOC to pump only vehicle tanks

Lanka IOC yesterday announced that it will only supply petrol directly into the fuel tank of the vehicle at all its sheds with immediate effect.

“No sales of petrol shall be allowed from Lanka IOC sheds into cans, containers or bottles,” the company announced yesterday.

LIOC said the move was decided to ensure the safety of public and property.
