LOLC Finance has taken a pioneering step towards financial inclusivity by introducing Sri Lanka’s first Braille-enabled Mastercard credit card. Specifically designed for visually impaired individuals, this innovative card features tactile Braille elements and a distinctive blind notch, enabling ease of use and greater accessibility.
By addressing the unique needs of diverse communities, this initiative sets a new benchmark in Sri Lanka’s financial services sector, blending functionality with inclusivity.
Aligned with the campaign’s vision of “feeling the pulse of the people,” LOLC Finance is reshaping the financial landscape to be more inclusive. The Braille-enabled credit card series will extend across various offerings, including Pulse, Gold, Platinum, and World cards, as well as the women-focused SWAIREE card. The SAVI Card, the first in the Braille series, is tailored for visually impaired government sector employees and pensioners.
These cards go beyond accessibility by offering unique benefits and rewards, transforming everyday financial transactions into empowering experiences. From daily purchases to exclusive perks, the Braille-enabled range ensures a seamless financial journey for all users.
This initiative reaffirms LOLC Finance’s leadership in championing inclusivity and financial empowerment, paving the way for a future where accessibility is a standard, not an exception.
