Lahore rat grounds UL aircraft

A rat has caused the grounding of a SriLankan Airlines aircraft for four days, officials revealed yesterday.

They said that the passengers had noticed the rat on board inside a flight from Lahore. “The rat was found inside on 22 February and we managed to trap it on 25 February. The aircraft is currently being checked by the technicians to ensure safety protocols,” officials told a media briefing yesterday.  

The incident was attributed as one of the reasons to the recent multiple delays of flights of the national carrier.
