MR assumes office as Finance Minister today

Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa will assume duties as the Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs and Policy Development today morning at the Treasury Secretariat.  

Later on he will also assume duties as the Minister of Buddha Sasana. Other portfolios at present attached to Rajapaksa are Cultural, Water Supply and Urban Development and Housing Facilities.
