Ahead of the Daily FT exclusive publication by next week, MTI Consulting has unveiled a ‘Crisis Response Model,’ which has been the basis of its pioneering study and the basis of the study publication.

This customised model is based on extensive research and MTI’s own experience of working on over 650 assignments across 47 countries in the last 23 years.
The base-line of the model focuses on four sequential probes along the lines of: Did the business expect the crisis? If and for what type of crisis were they prepared for? What impact did the crisis have on the business, both economic and people? How did the business respond to the crisis?
Armed with responses to these four probes, the second tier of the model then focuses on learnings from the crisis and how these learnings were integrated into the organisational learnings.
The final tier probes the national response evaluation (from a business perspective) and of course, the probability of such a crisis in the future.
