Mangala adds final touches to 2019 Budget

Minister of Finance Mangala Samaraweera was in discussion with Treasury Secretary Dr. R. H. S. Samaratunga regarding the final touches to the Budget 2019 at the Minister’s ‘Rainbow End’ private residence at Gorakana, Panadura yesterday. Minister Mangala Samaraweera will commence the Budget Speech at 1.30 p.m. on Tuesday in the Parliament.

Budget 2019 should not fall into the pitfall of being an election budget
