Mano, Hari shed executive roles at Carson

Senior Selva-nathan brothers, Mano and Hari have shed their executive roles at diversified blue chip Carson Cumberbatch Plc.

The duo has been re-designated as Non-Executive Directors with effect from 6 November 2023. Hari is the Non-Executive Deputy Chairman and Mano is Non-Executive Director. Tilak de Zoysa remains Non-Executive Independent Chairman of Carson.

The Selvanathans have also opted for  Non-Executive status in subsidiaries, Lion Brewery (Ceylon) Plc., and Ceylon Beverage Holdings Plc.

The move is in compliance with new Corporate Governance Rules of the Colombo Stock Exchange which came into effect from 1 October 2023.
