The Market Research Society of Sri Lanka (MRSSL) recently held its 12th Annual General Meeting, where Suthaharan Perampalam was elected as the President for 2025.

In his acceptance speech, Suthaharan expressed gratitude for the support of the society and the Executive Committee, acknowledging their contributions to a successful year. He also outlined key plans for the year ahead, emphasising the need for greater awareness and increased engagement from members. He stressed that strengthening industry collaboration is essential to delivering high-quality market research solutions — especially in the current climate of economic recovery and brand rebuilding. Joining him in leadership roles, Prajika Fernando was elected as Secretary, while Aadil Iqbal will serve as Treasurer. The 2025 Executive Committee welcomes new faces as part of the society’s ongoing efforts to nurture talent and develop future industry leaders.

The MRSSL Board of Directors, composed of the heads of its member organisations, will continue to provide strategic guidance to the industry. The board was re-elected, with Himalee Madurasinghe as Chair and Dilini Jayasuriya appointed as Secretary to the Board.

MRSSL said as it moves forward under its new leadership, it remains committed to advancing the market research industry in Sri Lanka, fostering innovation, and supporting businesses in making informed decisions.
