Mediterranean Shipping Company was awarded the most outstanding main line operator to the Colombo Port last night, beating global giant Maersk. MSC was recognised at the first-ever Port of Colombo Awards Night, officiated by Ports and Shipping Minister Mahinda Samarasinghe. The awards ceremony was a landmark joint effort by the Sri Lanka Ports Authority, the South Asia Gateway Terminals and Colombo International Container Terminals Ltd.
