MillenniumIT ESP announces leadership changes to drive future growth

MillenniumIT ESP, a leading provider of enterprise technology solutions, yesterday announced a significant change in its leadership, ushering in a new and promising era for the company. 

It said this strategic shift is driven by a transition in the Ambeon Group which further strengthens MillenniumIT ESP’s international growth strategy by bringing in the expertise of a new Board of Directors.

In tandem with these transitions, MillenniumIT ESP announced several key additions to its Board of Directors. Former PwC Sri Lanka Managing Partner Sujeewa Mudalige has been appointed as the Chairman. Mudalige’s experience as an independent director in both private and listed companies, together with proven expertise in business advisory services, are expected to be instrumental in guiding MillenniumIT ESP towards growth and success.

Joining the Board of Directors are Samresh Kumar, Savanth Sebastian, Sharad Sridharan, and Revantha Devasurendra. 

Samresh Kumar is a seasoned business leader and private equity investor with diverse global experience in multibillion-dollar companies, investment funds, and high-growth companies. He is currently the SkyX Solar Vietnam Founder, Chairman, and CEO, and has previously served as VinaCapital Managing Director and Masan Group Executive Vice President. Kumar has been instrumental in structuring, negotiating, and closing over 300 transactions and raising more than $ 1.5 billion in capital. Known for his good judgment, emotional intelligence, decision-making, and sharp problem-solving skills, Kumar is a proponent of good corporate governance and is an officially certified independent director in Vietnam.

Savanth Sebastian has a wealth of experience in economics, financial services, and investment management with 21 years of industry experience, having carried out responsibilities for nine years as Senior Economist within the Global Markets research team at Commonwealth Bank in Australia, advising Federal and State Governments, high net worth private and institutional clients, and internal stakeholders including Colonial First State and Commonwealth Bank senior leadership teams. 

Sharad Sridharan co-founded ACP Asset Management, where he serves as CEO and is a member of the Board of Directors and Investment Committee. Sridharan is responsible for sourcing and executing acquisitions and monitoring ACP Asset Management’s portfolio companies. 

Revantha Devasurendra brings a wealth of experience in driving strategic initiatives and implementing robust systems and processes. Devasurendra is the founding Board member of the Entrepreneurs Organisation (EO) Sri Lanka and has played a pivotal role in the establishment and success of the EO Bangkok Metropolitan Chapter. He continuously challenges the status quo while maintaining humility and a zest for life. He is the driving force behind British Ceylon Capital, a venture capital company focused on investments in the hospitality and export products sectors in Sri Lanka. 

Together, these distinguished individuals will enhance the governance and operational capabilities of MillenniumIT ESP, driving the company towards achieving its ambitious growth targets. The new leadership team is committed to a long-term growth strategy that emphasises organic expansion of existing business operations while leveraging the company’s international reach.
