The former Speaker has been cited as a Respondent in the case along with EC Chairman Mahinda Deshapriya, its members include Presidents Counsel N.J. Abeysekara and Prof. S. Ratnajeevan H. Hoole, Secretary to the President Dr. P.B. Jayasundara, Director General of Health Services Dr. Anil Jasinghe, and the Attorney General.
Counsel for the DUNF SG informed court that they had visited Jayasuriya’s home to hand over the notice, but he had refused to accept it and requested the court direct him to appear in court.
