This interactive competition invites individuals and teams to tackle real-world cyber threats and vulnerabilities across areas like cryptography, network security, reverse engineering, and web security.
On 25 November, the CEO Forum will explore the timely theme, “Is the Board Prepared to Respond to a Cyberattack?”, providing key insights into why cyber security must be a top agenda item for company boards. The forum will address executive strategies to enhance organisational resilience.
The summit will culminate on 26 November with a full day of presentations and discussions led by local and international cyber security experts, covering crucial topics such as: “The Rise of Cyber Scams: How to Detect and Prevent Fraud”; “Data Breaches and Leakages: Protecting Sensitive Information”; “Cyber Security in the Age of AI: New Frontiers, New Risks”, and “Global Threats and Local Impact: Securing Critical Infrastructure”.
NCINGA’s participation comes as part of a broader commitment to fostering cyber security awareness and innovation.
This year’s summit follows the successful 4th Annual Youth Summit on Cyber Security, held on 29 October at the BMICH, where over 800 students from the Colombo region
participated in interactive discussions on the future of cyber security. Similar youth events are planned for Jaffna, Kandy, and Galle, extending cyber security education to young talents across Sri Lanka.
