New People’s Bank Chairman Nissanka Nanayakkara PC assumes duties

The newly appointed Chairman of People’s Bank Nissanka Nanayakkara, President’s Counsel, assumed duties at the People’s Bank Head Office yesterday.

Nanayakkara functions as the Legal Secretary of the United National Party, and is also a member of the UNP Working Committee. 

He is also the Chairman of Litro Gas Lanka Ltd.

State Minister of Finance Eran Wickramaratne, MP S M Marikkar, MP Hesha Withanage, Bank of Ceylon Chairman Ronald C Perera, People’s Bank CEO/GM N Vasantha Kumar, and Senior Deputy General Manager/Secretary to the Board of Directors Rohan Pathirage were also present at this occasion, among a large gathering.
