Power and Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera yesterday affirmed that no decision taken to suspend the National Fuel Pass QR system from 10 April.
Taking to Twitter he said National Fuel Pass data will be analysed to gradually increase the quotas allocated.
The announcement of the Minister came after the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) noted that measures have been taken to end the QR code fuel rationing system from 10 April 2023.
“The decision on the system will be considered in consultation with Finance Ministry and other stakeholders in the next few months,” Wijesekera added.
