No power cuts during Sinhala and Tamil New Year: PUCSL

The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) yesterday confirmed that power cuts will not be imposed on 13, 14 and 15 April in view of the Sinhala and Tamil New Year.

The decision was taken with the availability of sufficient fuel and furnace oil, to generate electricity and also due to decreased demand, the electricity regulator said.
