Over 20,000 tourists in SL from 136 countries

Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) said yesterday together with the industry stakeholders, is looking into, and facilitating the necessary requirements of the 22,729 tourists in Sri Lanka at present. 

“We are making every effort to minimise any inconvenience caused to the tourists,” SLTDA said. 

It also gave a breakdown of countries with most arrivals from 136 countries. Australia 1,785, Canada 2,295, France 1,310, Germany 1,883, India 2,569, Russia 1,392, UK 2,397, and US 1,379.
