PM on a pilgrimage to Tirumala Temple in India

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe along with his family is scheduled to visit the Lord Venkateswara Temple at Tirumala in Andhra Pradesh on 2 and 3 March.

Prime Minister Wickremesinghe will be offering prayers to Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala during his two-day visit to the temple city.

Premier is scheduled arrive at the Chennai international airport on 2 March at about 3 p.m. and from there, the PM would reach Tirupati in a special flight by 4:30 p.m.

He along with his family members will reach Sri Padmavathi guest house at Tirumala by road and stay there overnight.

In connection with the visit of the Sri Lankan PM, Sub-Collector Mahesh Kumar along with SP K.K.N. Anburajan inspected the arrangements being made at the airport on Thursday, Deccan Chronicle reported quoting officials.

On 3 March the Premier along with his family members will offer prayers at Lord Venkateswara temple at Tirumala. He is set to fly back to Sri Lanka at 1:15 p.m. on the same day after offering prayers at the hill temple.
