President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, currently on a four-day official visit to China, is scheduled to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping today (15) at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
A statement issued by the President’s Media Division noted that it is also expected that several Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) will be signed following bilateral discussions between the two Presidents.
Prior to President Dissanayake’s visit, the Cabinet of Ministers approved a series of new agreements with China. These MoUs include; boosting tourism, export of chicken meat from Sri Lanka, fostering collaboration in health, media and information sectors.
