An Extraordinary Gazette notification issued has announced the Public and Bank Holidays for the year 2020.
Internal & Home Affairs and Provincial Councils & Local Government Minister Wajira Abeywardana issued the Gazette notification on 7 June.
According to the Gazette notification, the list of Public and Bank Holidays for next year are as follows:
