SLPP MP Prof. Ranjith Bandara was yesterday appointed as the new Chairman of the Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE) with majority votes.7
The post was vied by Prof. Bandara as well as SJB MP and economist Eran Wickramaratne. Prof. Bandara garnered 15 votes and Wickramaratne 7.
