Rupee slips

The USD/LKR rate on spot contracts yesterday closed at Rs. 307/310 subsequent to trading at Rs. 305 to Rs. 320.

The USD buying rate was Rs. 311.6 and the selling rate was Rs. 328.92 according to the Central Bank. It also quoted the middle rate of $/LKR spot exchange rate at Rs. 308.48 yesterday as against Rs. 303.20 on Wednesday.
