SLAF to get 3-acre land plot from Narahenpita for hospital

Cabinet has approved a proposal by Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa in his capacity as Minister of Urban Development and Housing to transfer three acres of land in Narahenpita, Colombo 5 to the Sri Lanka Air Force for the construction of a hospital.

The land will be from a land extent of 7 acres and 39.9 perches from Narahenpita area which was transferred to the Urban Development Authority for implementing urban development projects.

The SLAF had requested the UDA to release three acres from this land for construction of a hospital and will get the land as a free grant.
