Salieh new SEC Chief, Mihular to head SLT

Top professionals Faizal Salieh and Reyaz Mihular are tipped to chair the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) respectively. 

Sources said their appointments have been finalised and awaiting formalities. 

Salieh replaces Viraj Dayaratne PC who resigned as SEC Chairman after serving his three-year term. Mihular will replace Rohan Fernando.

Salieh, a former banker is the Chairman of Sri Institute of Directors. 

Mihular of KPMG-fame is a member of the Port City Commission of Sri Lanka. He was the former Managing Partner, KPMG Sri Lanka and Past Chairman – KPMG Middle East and South Asia.
