Scienter Technologies gets MBSL and Finance PLC core banking solution procurement

The Cabinet of Ministers at their meeting on Monday approved awarding the procurement for supplying, establishment, assignment and maintenance of Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka (MBSL) and Finance PLC of Core Banking Solution, for Scienter Technologies Ltd. 

“Bids were called for the procurement for supplying, establishment, assignment and maintenance of the MBSL and Finance PLC of Core Banking Solution following the National Competitive Bidding Procedure. Four institutions have submitted their bids,” Cabinet Spokesman and Minister Vijitha Herath said at the post-Cabinet meeting media briefing yesterday. 

Following the evaluation of technical and financial submissions, the Technical Evaluation Committee and the Standing Procurement Committee recommended awarding the contract to Scienter Technologies.

The decision was based on a comprehensive appraisal of the bids submitted by the four competing institutions.
