President Anura Kumara Dissanayake greets Opposition and SJB Leader Sajith Premadasa during the tea party following the ceremonial inauguration of the 10th Parliament on Thursday. During his policy statement, President Dissanayake said: As representatives of the people, we share the profound responsibility of creating a better country. My Government and I am fully committed to this responsibility, and I trust that the leaders and members of all Opposition parties will extend their support to this endeavour.”
