Sirisena-UNF meeting put off for today

The meeting to resolve the current political crisis between President Maithripala Sirisena and the United National Front scheduled for yesterday was put off for today. Sources said that the new meeting is scheduled for 8.00 p.m.

Originally yesterday’s meeting was to be a follow-up to Friday’s near two-hour dialogue between the President and UNF which failed to see any agreement being reached.
