Sri Lanka is charting a course towards a digital future with knowledge exchange from Australia.
State Minister for Technology Kanaka Herath recently hosted a productive meeting with Australia’s Digital Transformation Agency (DTA) to share insights and expertise.
The meeting focused on the DTA’s successful strategies in driving digital transformation across Australia, and how Sri Lanka can adapt these models to its own context.
Minister Herath expressed his gratitude for the support of his team, including Secretary of the Ministry of Technology Dharmashri Kumarathuga and Director Janaka Sampath Geekiyanage.
High-ranking officials from both countries participated in the discussions, including Australian Deputy High Commissioner Lalita Kapur and DTA Assistant Director Alek Hillas.
This initial meeting marks the beginning of a continuous dialogue between the two nations as they work together to accelerate Sri Lanka’s digital transformation journey.
