Sunshine Holdings Plc yesterday announced a sub division of its shares on the basis of one into three.
The number of shares in issue at present is 149.55 million and post sub division it will be 448.66 million shares.
The move is subject to shareholder approval.
Post-announcement, Sunshine Holdings share price gained by Rs. 3.50 or 3.7% to close at Rs. 96.60. Only 983,502 shares changed hands via 1,144 trades for Rs. 98.6 million.
The public float of Sunshine Holdings is 32% held by 2,023 shareholders as at 31 December 2020.
Lamurep Investments Ltd. owns 47.3% stake whilst the other two major shareholders are SBI Ven Holdings Ltd. (18%) and Deepcar Ltd. (17.4%).
