Several international and local experts will today shed key insights to how Sri Lanka can move towards a secure new normal in the use of technology via a top forum organised by the Daily FT and subject specialist CICRA Holdings Ltd.
The popular and eighth annual full day Cyber Security Summit will kick off today at Waters Edge, followed by a CEOs Forum tomorrow at the same venue.
The Day Conference has innovative and informative sessions, including discussions on payments and settlements, digital currencies, network security standards and compliance, and 5G technology and its security concerns. The CEOs Forum will specifically discuss why cyber security should be a boardroom discussion.
The main objective of the two events is to create awareness on the importance of cyber security within the private and public sectors as well as consumers. It also infuses IT professionals with the best practices in acquiring, implementing, managing and measuring information security postures of their organisations and countermeasures.
The events will also expose the latest flaws in information security that affect corporations and the Government. Discussions and presentations will revolve around some of the most malicious attacks and potential threats surrounding the security field and how corporates can prepare towards a secure new normal. Overall, the twin events will explore a secure path towards preventing tomorrow’s threat today.
