Union Bank of Colombo PLC Chief Executive Officer Dilshan Rodrigo categorically denied the allegations in online media stating that they are entirely false.
In response to a query from the Daily FT, Rodrigo emphasised that Union Bank remains a financially stable, well-governed, and progressive institution, dedicated to delivering value to its customers, stakeholders, and the community.
“We continue to operate with full transparency under the regulatory framework of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism,” added Union Bank CEO.
