Verité Research Deshal de Mel in new role as Advisor to the Ministry of Finance

Verité Research Research Director Deshal de Mel is moving to a new role as Advisor to the Ministry of Finance. He will be working with the technical team at the Treasury on economic recovery efforts for Sri Lanka. He has served the Ministry in a similar capacity previously between 2017-19.

Verité Research provides analysis, advice and education for Government, private sector, and civil society in Sri Lanka and Asia. Its main research divisions are in economics, politics, media, and governance.
